Exciting news for Kimberling City – we’re introducing the VIPS (Volunteers In Police Service) Program. This initiative aims to enhance our Neighborhood Watch Program and build a stronger, safer community.
The Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) program is a Newly implemented program by Kimberling City Police Department to enhance the Neighborhood Watch Program. Initial discussion started in March 2024 and as of July 25th, 2024 VIPS are in Action.
VIPS is a vital initiative that connects dedicated community members with our police department to enhance public safety and support our officers. VIPS volunteers play an essential role as advocates and supporters, assisting with Neighborhood Watch, Community outreach, crime prevention programs, and special events. Their commitment and service help strengthen the bond between our police department and the community, fostering a safer and more connected environment for everyone. Join us in recognizing and celebrating the invaluable contributions of our VIPS volunteers!
