*****REMINDER*****
The City will hold an information meeting regarding consolidated water on Thursday February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center.

*****ATTENTION: Public Informational Water Meeting Rescheduled*****
Due to the extreme cold weather, possibility of roads still being slick, and wanting as many citizens in attendance as possible, we are rescheduling the Public Informational Water Meeting that was originally scheduled for February 20 to Thursday February 27!

Kimberling City Municipal Court is canceled Thursday February 20, 2025.

Road Update from Public Works:
Crews have plowed overnight and while the roads are still covered, they are packed down to a thin layer of snow. While the sun is out today, the crew is taking a much-needed break to allow the layer of packed snow to melt as much as possible with the temperatures so cold. We will continue plowing later on today/tonight. We again thank you for your patience!

City Hall will be closed tomorrow, February 19th, due to road conditions. The Economic Development Committee Meeting and Board of Aldermand Special Meeting scheduled for tomorrow have also been canceled.
As previously posted, since City Hall is closed, late fees on sewer bills will not be assessed until February 26th.
If you have not received your February bill in the mail, you can receive an e-mailed copy of the bill by e-mailing a request to Cboillot@ckcmo.com, or Gellis@ckcmo.com or calling City Hall when we reopen.

Road Update from Public Works:
Crews continue to plow Kimberling City streets. With the persistent snow throughout the afternoon, roads are still covered and are slick. Snow is expected on and off until midnight. We will continue to plow roads throughout the night. We ask for your patience, advise anyone to avoid travel if at all possible and if you must travel, please keep a safe distance from snow plows! Thank you!

City Hall received the following email from Republic Services regarding trash pickup:
Republic Services will not be running residential routes today due to the inclement weather. With the anticipated snowfall, temperatures and the timing of the winter storm, there is a high probability that we will not be able to run Wednesday also and will have to recover those days next week, taking all extra. As you all know, safety is our highest priority, and this storm appears to be here to stay for a few days. We will update you when we can resume routes (looking like possibly Thursday or Friday).

Sewer bill late fee this month has been pushed to February 26.

City Hall will be closed today (2/18/25) due to incoming weather.

❄️🚗 Snow is on the way! With snowfall expected to hit Kimberling City over the next 24 hours, our dedicated crew is ready to work hard to keep our roads safe and accessible. 🚗❄️
🌨️ 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄:
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁: Please avoid parking on the road. Vehicles left on the street can slow down snowplows and may prevent them from clearing your road.
Conditions will be hazardous: Snow is expected to fall and stick at a very fast pace. Although we will continue to salt and plow through the day... Try your hardest to stay home.
𝗜𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: The city is divided into sections for snow removal, each taking time for a complete pass. Our crews are working as quickly as possible.
Please be patient. This snow event is expected to last until tomorrow and is being followed up with very cold temperatures. Be safe, stay warm, and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks!

City staff are tracking the winter weather predicted for our area as best as we can. Crews will be out working, starting with pretreat, early in the morning. We will try to keep up with accumulating snow but keep in mind there is potential of hazardous conditions throughout the day. If the weather hits, stay home if possible and give our crews time to clear the streets.
Everyone stay safe, and warm!

Due to very slick driving conditions, City Hall will be closed today (February 12, 2025). Everyone stay safe, and if you have to go out, take your time and drive carefully.

Tonight's 4:30pm Police Committee Meeting and 5:30pm Special Event Committee Meeting have been cancelled due to lack of quorum.

Due to inclement weather, City Hall will be closed today (1-10-25). Everyone stay safe and warm!
